Acid Buf is derived from calcified marine algae, with bioavailable Calcium and Magnesium and other minerals.

Acid Buf has a unique honeycomb structure which greatly increases its surface area. Soluble calcium & magnesium are released as a consequence. Although Acid Buf & Limestone are both calcium carbonate they function very differently due to their differing physical structures. Limestone needs a more acidic environment in which to solubilize, whereas 100% of Acid Buf is solubilized in the rumen.
